It's not uncommon that the rear is not centered. It's not real noticeable with stock tires but when you start stuffing larger wheels and tires it shows up. The solution is simple though, you should be either able to shim the panhard bar where it bolts to the frame or just get a adjustable panhard bar that will allow you to center it.

This sounds like it is offset more than the common 1/4" or so. I would check to make sure the wheels are the same offset and if they are, I would look for something bent. Can you post pictures?

Should the pinion be centered in the driveshaft tunnel I have a vibration/hum on decel that goes away if I give it a little throttle--noticed the torque arm has a piece of channel iron welded to it waiting on the rear spring isolators and deep grove alt pulley befor getting back under it then I'll make some mesurements right now having to much fun driving it --car is insane 25 MPH roll and just lights um up :D

Can you send pictures of the rear end? You may have some custom job under there since you have a 350 etc. Jim

Personally I think Monza's that are tubbed look very tough, maybe a mini tub would be enough. If done right you should not even know it's been tubbed.
