Will an S-10 disc rearend fit into a stock Vega body?

without any cutting or mods?I am looking at an 8.5 out of an s10 2wd the WMS is correct for the car but was wondering if the Calipers interfered with the body at all,thanks.

Yes, the calipers will interfere with the angled brace in the inner fender opening. Do a search on the Schwartz "Flying Turd" Vega to see how he reinforced the opening to remove the brace.
