The stock throwout bearing is a "short" one, 1.24" height. I had a long thread about throwout bearing height and how it relates to the proper clutch fork angle a couple years ago. There are quite a few variations on the "short" and "long" GM throwout bearings and it will affect the optimum geometry of this whole setup. If you need one I'd be happy to get one for you and give you advice on how to setup the ballstud on the top RH side of the bellhousing and get things working smoothly. The throwout bearing goes on the end of the transmission and fits into the clutch fork. The clutch fork moves the bearing back and forth to disengage the pressure plate. cjbiagi@yahoo.com
