clutch cable placement

Does the clutch cable housing bolt to the inside of the firewall or outside? The firewall got a little messed up when the original housing was removed. Thanks Charles

Blot and clip come from the engine bay side Charles. Power brake booster will add to the challenge. Mine was out when I removed it so that went pretty easy but it appears to be pretty close to the brake opening from memory. Harry
