Just thought I would share some pictures of a Moser Rear completed. Finally after years someone got one built. WITH all the bells and Whistles. :)

Pictures are too big but I will try to post ASAP. Jim

I put a Moser 12 bolt in my red Hawk. Explorer rear disc brakes and a S&W torque arm. Found out real quick the TA needed tucked in closer to the drive shaft plus a little tunnel tweak at the rear. Stock brackets except for the pan hard bar bracket. Calipers clocked so they are right against the bracket for the shock and LCA. Hope I drive it before I'm 60 :D

Agreed, very nice. So what's the price tag on such a beauty? I am guessing $2500 - $2900

Jim, I assumed Moser was a competitor of yours. Are they making them for you or vice versa? Or are you using some of there 12 bolts and modifying them for a H body?

This is a Custom build - Will probably never be another for us.
Had to have a donor rear first (customer supplied)for the control arm and pan hard spring perch brackets...
Used the CAmaro 82-2002 Camaro MOSER ENGINEERING rear with Ford large bearing ends (depending on the brakes being used you can choose from GM small or Large or any one of the many FORD housing ends out there... Just look at the Moser web site for Housing ends.
Torque arm bracket will still need to be modified from a Aftermarket Camaro torque arm.
This was a Housing axle package deal, any width needed...
All parts were installed and supplied for the center section by J D Race
-Eaton Posi
- Ring and pinion
- Bearings and seals etc.
- Yoke...
Wilwood brakes (matched up with brake offset and housing ends calculates from the wheel well width needed and rims being used and their acquired offset.)

Plan to spend more than the car was purchased for in the 70's.

It was a FUN Build, But I do not see production of a unit like this anytime soon. :) I was just lucky that someone trusted and had the wiliness to see it through...

Jim that really looks nice!

I had a problem with the calipers hitting the car. I just copied the dimensions of the stock rear that is why my housing ends are right next the the shock bracket. Looks like yours put the housing ends out farther, different offset wheel should have that tucked in nice without the caliper hitting.
