A posi carrier can be fit on any gear ratio. The only thing to watch is that there were two different ones depending upon gear ratio. 2 series carriers fit 2.29 to 3.08 and 3 series fits 3.23 and up. My 75 came with a 2.56 posi.......

Sorry for the delay, I got very ill Thursday night and just got back to somewhat functional today. Yes it is a 2 series carrier, It still has its original 2.42 ring gear on it. If it was a 3-series carrier I would have sold it a long time ago. Here are some pictures. You can tell it has a 241 gear by dividing the 41 by 17 as stamped on the ring gear.

I am going to be away for work for the next 2 weeks, so I would not be able to ship it until the 1st week of Feb.

Let me know if still interested. and I will PM you my paypal adress

For those here that don't already know, 3-series gears can be used on a 2-series carrier with a spacer.
