Manual Conversion

Postby Kenova » Mon May 30, 2016 11:29 am

I'm gathering parts to convert to a manual trans.
I was wondering if the pedal support bracket (between the firewall and dash) is different between the manual and auto cars.
Is it just a matter of swapping in the clutch pedal, or do I need to swap the support bracket too?

My other car is a Nova.

They are different. They are also different between 71-75 and 76-77.

Will a '76-'77 Monza/Vega clutch and brake pedal assembly bolt right in to a '72 Vega? I'm converting an automatic to a four-speed.
