Not hi-jacking, the thread but, ... I read that the s-10 axles are 1/16th shorter than the vega axles, here is our dilemma... The axles are in with new s-10 backing plates and s-10 wheel cylinders. The backside of the lug studs are so close to the wheel cylinders on both, that although they do not rub, they are awefull close, so close, you cant get a credit card between them. I am not sure what to do. Grind the lug studs or shave the wheel cylinders slightly to increase the clearance. Any ideas?
