Hello guys!
As in title, I am looking for an 2 wd S-10 rear axle for my project. Can you tell me what model and year to look for with aluminium (2 piston? ) disc brake calibers?

You are correct. I misread it. I don't think the rear got two piston calipers. My 98 had a single with a drum brake inside the rotor hat Mine was 4x4 thoughhammerdown7 wrote:RobR wrote:I want to say 98+ Blazer's had the 2 piston calipers. I had a 98 and it had them.
I thought those were on the front rotors, not the rear.

Hard to find in a local scrap yard, but I see them on Ebay all the time.
Cheers,

Just want to make sure you are aware, the s10 disc brakes will not clear the body or the trailing arms without moving the calipers around quite a bit or fairly major surgery. There's several threads where this has been attempted.

It really takes significant need to have multi piston calipers in the rear. I'm fairly convinced no 'S' truck had them.
