Thanks for the kudos everyone, dwragon, your rabbit wire frame will work fine but may be have a less uniform finish, but that's all, I made one like that with aviary mesh and plumbers tape then fiberglassed for the 64 panel, which worked perfectly, but was a little rough looking, you will probably do a better job of it than I did.
Our motor mounts are lakewood 24084 muscle mounts and not the standard truck mounts that I thought, my bad, the corvette 2285 anchor motor mounts from ohreallys you describe would be a great choice, and for only $10 each, the lakewoods where $70 for the pair back in 06, damn.
Oh and the big block, that went into cavemans 71 LTD convertible that is pictured somewhere back in this thread, came out nice, nothing like a big block for sure.
The 64 LWB panel has a SBC 350, 350 turbo trans, 205 transfercase, Dana axles front and rear, yes we did the conversion to 4x4, that was a big challenge, drives great, currently serving as a self propelled storage container for all the Vega parts, hope drive it again someday, I start it up every few months or so and dream about driving it again.
dwragon I hope you do get to your suburban someday soon, good luck
