NEW TOY!

I just saved another HBody from a dismal life. I bought a 1976 Buick
Skyhawk with the brushed aluminum band and glass roof options! There
were only about 200 of this type optioned cars manufactured.

Teh car was orignally silver with a red interior. The car now has a
lousey faded red paint job. An attempt had been made to convert to a
black interior by spray dying a pair of tan bucket seats and the worn
out carpeting. Fortunately, nothing else was sprayed in the interior.

It has V6 (231 c.i.)engine with a 4 speed manual transmission, ps,
a/c, full gauge instrumentation and standard brakes. I have two good
spare brake boosters. The glass roof was replaced in the late 1980s.
I got a whole bunch of parts, like 3 hatches, a hood Rally II wheels,
2 fenders, extra quarter glass, seats, etc.

The engine doesn't run because it needs a fuel pump and a battery.
This is a great find. Now, if I can only find time to work on it. I
have 4 Hawks and 4 Monzas including a Mirage, a Z01 and a Z02 Spyder.
I will post pics as soon as possible.

Oh yeah, $1000 for everything!

Richard
