Hi all,

New to the board but been into Buick's for as long as I care to
remember. I'm looking for a '75 Skyhawk to purchase, I guess to
replace my first new car. I bought a '75 new in July of '75, a red
with black leather 4 speed. Man, I loved that car. Sold it in
August of '81 with 120,000 miles on it. Wish I had it back.

What I'm looking for is a nice clean '75. No junk, no rust. A 4
speed is a plus! Don't want a '76 or up, as the dash was unique to
the '75's, and I like the '75 dash.

Anybody have one they wish to sell? I'm in Ohio, so midwest is best
for me.

Thanks!

Brad

Hi Doyle,

Well, I guess beggars can't be choosers, so yea, I could be
interested. You seem to know a little about the car in question and
you said it would need restoration...so how much resto does it need?
Will it run now? Would it be driveable back to Ohio and be safe in
the trip? Do you know how much he is asking for the car? If you
wish, you may email me directly at <a href="/group/buickskyhawkownersclub/post?protectID=200185107112146031218061001036006239018">kg8s@a...</a> .

Thanks!

Brad

Brad, I know you feel strongly about the 75 model, but if you would
consider a 76, I know where there is one of the super-rare C06
GlassRoof optioned Skyhawks for sale. It's a rust-free Florida car.
It's red with (I think) black interior. Also has p/s, p/b, a/c and a
5-speed and a V6 engine that runs well. It needs to be restored, but
you would have a really unusual car that you could be proud of.

I have the guy's phone number, name and email address if you are
interested. He has 9 H-bodies and one of them has to go.

Hi All,

Just a followup on my origional post...Bought a '75 Skyhawk from Ben,
who contacted me after my initial post. It's red with a white
interior 4speed, just what I wanted. Price was right and Ben was a
true gentleman, meeting me half way where we exchanged title and $$.
The car is in very good condition...very litle rust (was rustproofed
when new)and really only needing a few things to make it perfect. I
am really happy with the purchase and took it for a little drive this
morning...drove just like I remembered from 20+ years ago. What a
fun little car!

I'll be needing a few parts (shifter boot for a 75 4 speed comes to
mind...),but this will be FUN. Isn't that what it's all about?

Thanks again, Ben. I appreciate your selling me your car.

Brad
