On my IMSA RS CV there is a bulkhead that runs from the area normally where the rear seat backrest is, up to the hatch and it separates the interior from the fuel cell area.

I've seen the ones like you mention Dick. I just never saw one as close to the driver as this one. It reminds me of the "headache rack" in a delivery truck. It may only be the pictures, but it looks like it would cause issues seeing what's behind. I still like the looks of the car though.

Yes, that's the same monza that was for sale a few years ago. Andy did a great restoration job!! He is going to enter this monza at this years monterey historics in about a month. He is going to have a pro trans am driver race it. Keep your eyes out for it on the blogs.

I was runninig the car at Laguna Seca the end of this month at a SCCA vintage event. We are going to fire it up Monday April 18 and get it running. Then we are going to take it to the dyno and get it tuned. From there it will get sorted out by Rick Freeman who used to wrench on Tom Franks car at Huffaker Enginering. We have a couple weeks so I hope everything goes to plan. We had a few setbacks along the way. The chance of running the Monterey Historics is slim but you never know.

Sounds exciting, make sure you pass along some more pictures! Have you driven at Leguna Seca before?

do you still have this dekon? it looks like one that used to run at Westwood in Vancouver bc and if so is one of the Chris Cord cars The bulkhead was a way that dekon and Cord found to stiffen the chassis without the rules being questions and at minimal weight gain. There were only 11 cars actually built even though the vin go to 15, one was a skylark for Gene Felton and dekon would not build #13 as it was unlucky.
looking at the date, Im sure you have found out lots by now but if not drop a line and I will help as I can

13 Skyhawk, There were actually 13 Dekon Monzas. 001 is in Austrailia, 002 a friend of mine in San Jose owns, 003 the 1st Keyser car is back east somewhere owned by Toby Bean, 004 was sold a couple years ago to a guy named Hogan in Colorado,005 the Moffat car last I heard is in Mt View not too far from me being restored, 006 is down near San Diego, 007 is for sale and down in Orange county, 008 the first Holbert car is in a collection in NY?, 010 The x Greg Pickett car is now red and in Canada, 011 x Chris Cord car is owned by Ken Epsman and kept at Sears Point (and just crashed at Laguna Historic races), 012 2nd Cord car is down near LA, 014 2nd Holbert car I heard is being restored somewhere back east, 016 a friend of mine owns. So that's 13 and 018 might have been built for Al Holbert but never raced because Porsche complained and Holbert went back to Porsche. Also no my car is not on the list. That sucks. A guy gave me a ton of cash for it a couple of weeks ago. Its funny I don't think I knew what happened when he drove away. Im now in the process of building a street car with the IMSA flares. When I get it done and I figure out how to post pics Ill post some. Anyway thanks for the interest.

No,
Agors Monza is an original Monza built by Agor. It has some good IMSA history, and is currently vintage racing. I believe !006 is in orange county, not san diego. All the dekons have been found, including 1008, 1014, and 1018. All three are Ex-Holbert Monza's, and are still hiding on the east coast.

Hoyt Overbaugh of Colonial Heights Virginia ran an IMSA Monza in the 70's and 80's. Not sure where his car went, or who built it.
