Header question

are the hooker super comps still three pieces for
small block vega/monza it's been a long time since i
fooled with one with a factory subframe a friend just
bought some super comps and the guy told him he would
need motor plates?! Not that I'm against motor plates
but it's not what he wants.

Trentec,

There are at least 2 types of
Hooker headers for H-bodies.

Part #2129 - Three
piece header, 1-3/4" tubing, 3" collector, will not
work with factory mounts (requires the front mounted
Hooker kit or compatible), supposed to not work with PS,
but I got 'em to fit (requires custom work), and one
tube exits through the fender well and wraps under the
frame back to the collector.

Part #2135 - Not
sure if it's 3-piece, 1-1/2" tubing, I think it's a
2-1/2" collector, for use with factory motor
mounts

He doesn't know wich part number but I'll ask about primary tube size thanks!
