That looks pretty solid, the dents can be repaired. Would love to see some more pics of the interior and engine.

Hi peter,

Maybe you know this already, but there is a guy in Belgium who is selling a Monza for parts. Found him a while ago via speurders.nl. If you are interested i'll probably have his contact info somewhere around. He appears to have some kind of junkyard with USA only cars.

Thanks Tiemen, i think the car is on Kapaza or some other 2 hand site .
But the joy of my project is
1) the engine most run again .
2) make the car ready for the street .
3) do somthing special with the car .

Today i check the engine, i can turn it by hand, so thats a good sign .
I remove the radiator and drain the water, there was no oil in the water .
If you see the picture, there is a support for airco, but there is no airco .

The aircleaner house was inside very dirty .

Today i check the fuelfilter on the M2MC carburator .
It was completely dry .
So that was the reason way the car starts (cranking i think) but not run .
I hope you guys understand my terrible English .
When i bought the car, the owner told my to clean the fueltank .
So now i gonna clean the fueltank and check the electrical fuelpump .
New fuel in it and hope it works .
Again one step closer direction Highway !

Usually we refer to a started car as running or ignition taking place. Cranking or turning over describes it's state before that. :)

I'm not sure I understand cleaning the tank tho?

Check power to pump maybe... good luck!

Thanks Zeke and Tiemen .
Tiemen, i am from Nijlen, 30 km under Antwerp .
So today i remove the fueltank and remove the old fuel (+/- 6 years old, not sure) .
Tank is ok, but fuelpump dont work anymore, that was the reason for not running .
I gonna look for a replace fuelpump, new fuelpump or a electrical fuelpump out of the tank .

Thanks for help !

The filter :

Image

The hose on the pump was lost .

Image

The pump have 2 connections, a + and a - .

Image

I test with a battery and i hear only a soft click .

Usual, i think, you hear (and feel) the pump working .

So, is my pump broken ?
