This is great news, Bill. There are so few (read almost none) good shows for H-bodies, excepting of course Bryan's wonderful Monzaque and a handful of others that have probably been too far away for me to consider.

I had long since quit taking my car to shows since no one except H-body owners really appreciates (or recognizes) them. I'd love to go back to the Monzaque but just have too many other things going on that preclude that expense. At least I can say I did it once, and a great time it was. Hopefully, the Ontario crowd can make the trip to Ohio.

I think I attended every Quaker City meet you put on before, and you can count me in again this year. Looking forward to seeing all of you guys again.

Reid

P.S. No, I'm not dead.

Reid,

Good to hear from you. Glad you can make it out. It wouldn't be the same without you. :D This is going to be the biggest yet. With this board, V8Monza.com and social media we have about 53-55 cars right now. H-bodies of all sorts are going to be there including original, street machines, drag cars and road racing cars. There will be quite a few Cosworth Vegas as well. See you there!

Thanks,

Bill

Well, I sent a message to Bill expressing my interest in bringing the Monza to Quaker (Marco you would loose, yellow is way faster than red) only to have my honey remind me we have a family wedding on the 13th. Oh well please post pictures.

Well, gentlemen, seems I am out. My vacation request was officially denied today. Someone with more seniority than me has already taken the week before and after off. Something about his kid's graduation... which I totally get. But I am severely bummed about missing this. Hopefully it will be so successful it will become an annual thing!

Well Sport you could just get a new job! Or just call in Sick cough, cough, with picturesque language describing the lower gastro-intestinal shenanigans that afflicted you, and throw in some upper GI maladies as well! (You know just for effect). Don't forget to eat something that will support the story the next day ( something smelly, beans, pickled eggs, etc.) Get a doctors note from the car guy doctor in town for re-enforcement's ( the one with the Ferrari). Just some idea's to mull around. Harry

I'm in. I'll be there with the Vega.
Looking forward to it.
640 miles one way but it'll be worth the road trip.

Is there any requirements to pre register? I'll definitely be there, but I cant guarantee the vega will. Can I take my truck to the cruise and show? Or is it banned for being non h body?

I plan to attend but I just can't commit just yet, last minute is more exciting anyway! I have to see the money thing and try and get the car to minimum standards, (running properly and predictably well complete interior in the car and installed, my truck needs some attention bad, and the tow dolly needs some maintenance as well). I just don't want to do another show without the car, I am just too busy to give it the attention it needs, money isn't the problem right now but when the time comes available the money dries up pretty fast, the old cake and eat it too dilemma. I have already reserved the room for the Monza'Que and there is still a little money to spend on the car, and the truck and the dolly and the bathroom (I just don't want to do, but has to be finished or I will have to spend on the Divorce Attorney and alimony :censored: :cuss: :bang: ) So in short I have to work all the hours I can to pay for this dream, and forgo sleep and this should all work out. What could go wrong? :? Harry

CaptainPainn,
You can pre-register for the show by just letting me know you'll be there. I'll add you to the list! As for the truck at the cruise and show, it shouldn't be an issue.

MonzaHarry,

No sleep for you until you get home June 14th!!

Thanks,
Bill

Ive taken my truck to a few shows around here and got some funny looks. If there was a trophy for worst in show I would have taken it. Its a work truck, daily driver, winter beater, and project all in one! Thanks
