Westlake 185 70 13's..

Postby marco_1978_spyder » Sat Jan 24, 2015 9:28 pm

Well. My set of bargain basement 13" tires has arrived. I shopped around what little selection their was and found this set to be the cheapest to-my door.

The pickings are slim these days. And it seems with a selection this small there is no competition driving prices down...the cheapest tire is simply the cheapest tire.

Over-all they look pretty decent. Or at least they look and feel like new tires. I'm a little skeptical. I'm no tire expert but the sidewalls seem rather thin and flimsy to me. I'll have the final word once they are mounted. The tread pattern looks pretty normal. and the tread width seems like it's going to look narrower than I wanted.

Once again we'll see when they are mounted. I'm also considering putting these ones on the factory steel wheels and saving up for a nice set of name brand 205 60's if I can find them.
