New 13 Inch Tires Contact Bob Weber

Postby hammerdown7 » Tue Oct 13, 2015 12:03 pm

A member of the "Cosworth Vega Owners" group on Facebook has found a possible source for new BFG 205/60-13 radial T/A's. These would be manufactured in Mexico. He is trying to get commitments from owners wanting to purchase to give a number to the manufacturer for a one time buy. If you are interested please add your $.02

Sounds like a good deal, I am in for one set, but I may be able to go two, am curious of the price as well, but mark me down for one set for sure.

I'm trying to get contact info for you to send your reply to so I don't end up getting things mixed up. By the way, the set he purchased was $320 for the set but he doesn't have a price on the group buy yet until he has more info.

Be sure you contact Bob, as far as I know this is a one time buy, logistics on delivery have not been worked out as yet. I'm not part of the purchase, I already switched over to 15 inch wheels.

Here's a couple shots of the tires, Bob has some contacts with the tire industry and that is how he found his set shown below.

Wow, that's pretty cool. If I didn't already have a brand new set of Goodyear's on mine I might go for this. Hope you can get a good synergy going.

I'm definately interested in a couple sets of those RWL Radial T/A's in that size as I did not go for the 15 inch upgrade and am going to be running 13's in that size as long as possible.

For what its worth, there are currently some black letter 205/60/R13's on sale from the place I got a set from last year. Though they havent been mounted or run-tested yet, they look ok. Some pix below ..

Sav

p.s. I emailed Bob and asked for 2 full sets of those RWL Radial T/A's.

I would be interested in a set. Just for future use. I put a set of the ProMeter LL600 on mine. They balanced out great and drive good. They thump some cold, but the car sets awhile between drives.
