Move No. 15??

Postby Sunula66 » Sat Mar 05, 2016 1:42 pm

Well, here I go again....
I am in the middle of preparations to transfer and relocate back to Ontario (Can.) ....wish it was Ca. lol
...sooo, it's been 3 years and 3 months out here and it's probably move 15 or so but we gotta go where the jobs is.....my Family and Friends are there and a new Grandbaby I haven't met yet so as I say goodbye to Friends and Colleagues here in Alberta soon, I'll miss the whole Wild Rose thing out here! My Little A-frame on the lake will be listed on Monday and I'll need to drive and tow 3 vehicles back 2800 miles and what the hell am I gonna do with the Sunbird Parts car now.....sh-t! oh well, if anyone is close to Bonnyville Ab. come get her and take her away, for FREE!....otherwise it's going outta town to "rust in pieces" with the other coupe at my buddies place....
This whole thing comes about, and as you are all well aware, the falling oil prices and tough times ahead for our energy sector, especially out here in Alberta. Thousands have already left with their hope and dreams shattered as they now leave behind homes and new vehicles, boats, bikes and quads etc. with signs attached and a phone number asking if anyone wants to take over a payment, just call the number... there are abandoned vehicles at all of the major airports and homes with furniture in them abandoned...scary stuff!!
I'm not in that predicament myself as I have enough experience to basically do whatever I want in the transportation industry but it still sux, and I don't want to take the chance of having to sell off stuff to survive out here....before it turns around again in say 3-5 years!! :!:
Hopefully I'll be able to reconnect at Monza Que with the Lads and have a little fun with Mr. Bird this summer, if it doesn't sell that is. Still contemplating that but I'm pretty stubborn ...stay tuned...Am I supposed to hate moving? ...what's wrong with me

Thanks Dick, ya it will take a bit of planning and leaving stuff behind hurts, takin' a bath on tools and stuff...but mostly losing friends and comrades from out here and the Pontiac club...sux...oh well, it's for the better!

Sad but probably a good move. The Arabs are going to keep flooding the market for some time yet I think.

Will be good to see you again at the Chevy Shop. 8)

Thanks Dick and Chris,
I've been staying in touch with you and Harry and Fred over the years and will be nice to reunite with everyone again, and of course, Monza-Que! Looking forward to seeing Bryan and everyone! This time, it will be on bigger rubber and a motor that works awesome! Tranny still needs rebuilt but the little Vega tranny is still hangin' in there, just producing a "bearing" sound more definitive than when first installed... ( 400 plus hp does that sort of thing I guess lol)
So we'll be in touch soon and thanks for the well wishes, just hope this house sells...most places are on the board for 260 days now...mine might need to be rented for a while as I'm not payin' on two places.. just keep my fingers and toes crossed.... :th:
