vega differetial rebuild

Vega differential ring and pinion rebuild I need any advice on how to do it right.

How far down to you plan on tearing it down? Are you replacing or changing the rearend gears? It should be basically the same as other GM 10 bolts, it does require some understanding on how to set the gear pattern and backlash as well as the proper amount of crush sleeve torque to set the bearing preload. Best advice i would have is to read up and study as many articles as you can until you feel you have a good knowledge. Here are some but you can google GM 10 bolt rearend rebuild.

What engine is in front of that rear? Is it the 6.5 vega rear and you have a v8 dont bother .Find a 7.5 monza rear or s10 rear and go from there.
