1975 Vega Wagon.
Here she is and keep in mind that this was a budget build from 25 years ago. The first picture is from 1977 when my grandmother got it.

Today as she sits.

OK. Parts should be coming in soon. The rear is built, Wheels and brakes should be here next week. Within the next few weeks if should be torn down and in the chassis shop. I'm getting excited.

If the floor and firewall are in good shape ask the chassis shop to remove it in as big a piece as possible. There are a lot of cars out there that could use it.

if the panels that run down the sides of the cowl (under fenders) are rust free I am interested in them.

The floors are rust free but the tunnel and firewall were cut and replaced with the tunnel out of a full sized car so I could get more clearance to raise the engine up about an inch. The floors were also split for frame connectors.

Sid that floor may still have value to some, especially if it is rust free or even just real clean [minor issues] as that becomes excellent patch panel material, most don't have rust in the tunnels and many will be doing the same for "frame ties" Decent sheet metal is in SHORT supply, I would post it here and I doubt you will hold onto it for long! My wheels came in yesterday and the tires will go on in the next couple of days. For now I just get to stare at them from across the room.

OK...It's tore down to a shell and all of the original suspension is now in the back of my truck. Is there any reason to save this stuff or is it all just scrap?

Please LMK ASAP or it's headed to the junk man.

Thanks, Phil.

Progress. :D This is the ride height and stance that I'm looking for. The parts are starting to pile up and the chassis work will begin soon.

To use a coined phrase "looks bitchin" love the stance and the wheels so give us more details. Four link rear or? and what about the front suspension?

What size tires and wheels etc spill the beans on what you are doing !!!

And thanks for posting
