You posted your question in the "Drag Racing" section; if you're building a race only car, Wilwood offers a single piston caliper and 5 bolt hub setup to fit the stock Vega spindle. If this is for a street/strip or street only, the spindles/hubs/brakes from a 2wd S-10 is the simplest swap.
The "fleet"-
72 Vega HB Drag Car -383/'Glide/9"(9.35@146.19)(5.94@117.28 1/8th)
77 Vega Estate wagon- project(someday)will have TPI305/T-5, S-10 spindles/axles
76 Vega GT- 400/4spd/9" retired from active duty(rusty)
06 Silverado 2WD ex.cab daily
03 Silverado 2WD ex.cab (retired)
06 Haulin' 20ft enclosed car transporter
06 GMC Canyon Shop truck
07 Colorado project( 5.3 4L60e swap)
99 Saturn SL1- wife's car
01 Saturn SC2- son's project
07 Saturn Ion Redline project
and 4 more Saturn "parts cars"
Note- the very act of listing all of these has made me realize I have some kind of problem.....

There is another option, but this is "High End" serious parts [at that expected price point, YES LOTS of $$$$!] but they start with your stock spindle and modify it for bigger brakes and upgrades are/were available. You are looking in the $2G neighbourhood for both ends to start. Now this does address a couple of S10 issues that arise but also leaves a few Vega/Monza [and friends] issues with you. If you give us a little more we can focus or answers to your desired finish line. Harry http://www.aerospacecomponents.com/imag ... ctions.pdf

My bad; the Wilwood front brake setup for Vega/Monza has been discontinued. If you want to do the S-10 spindle swap, you have 2 choices-
1- modify your control arms to take the S-10 ball joints(uppers can be ground out, lowers will require welding in a sleeve)
2- buy the Bob Gumm ball joint adapter sleeves.

Hi guys, I'm back after a few years . I retired from Pratt & Whitney jet engines after 39 years . Got a '75 Monza 2+2 I am dragging . Anyway, I just purchased upper and lower A arms from AJE and a brake and spindle kit from Southwest with Wildwood calipers . Here's the problem , the lower arms had a shallow spring pocket compared to my Monza with deep . After I lowered it to the floor it sat about 4 inches higher but with 6 degrees camber . I was using 4 cylinder coils and it sat low like I wanted . So, I cut 1 1/2 coils and it sat O.K. Still camber no good . So, what now about the S10 spindles ? The kit listed them as S10 and mid eighties G body . Same as Bob Gumm's kit . I E-mailed Gumm's site but no answer . So I yanked everything off and returned it to stock for last Sun racing . Help ! I'd send some pics if I knew how . The spindles side by side look like different angles . Thanks .

In reply too your PM, I have not done this swap so I am not sure. Posting pics is easy if you have the pics resized so they can be downloaded here. That is a lot of camber change, are the AJE arms specific to the L and R side? Is it positive or negative camber?
