Trying to connect with an H-buddy

Postby Sunula66 » Mon Sep 19, 2016 3:45 am

Hey Len..if you're still around, I'm near your neighborhood. Kinda on a more regular basis for a while...PM me will ya?
As in the past I try to contact board members while I have been travelling extensively throughout coast to coast. It's always a great time and usually have lots of notes to compare when it comes to car junk :th:
I met Len a few years ago out here in B.C. and we had a great couple visits. It's always nice to put a face to the H-buddy in real life!! ...that way exchange of ideas and sometimes buy and sell of parts happens as well.. 8)
PS...tried to PM you but it won't go through...lost your number as well...

Hey Sunny, I've been to Len's a few times as well and though I am on vacation and dont have access to my home PC (which I believe contains Len's contact info) I could draw a map to his place if that becomes a last resort .. just saying.

cheers, Sav

Got in touch with Len...we had a good ole chat..well I yacked a fare bit lol...he gave me the name of a place he claims is awesome that can rebuild my Saginaw M-22!
Good stuff usually happens when car guys get talkin' and it's even kooler when we get to meet in person :th:
I met Len a few years ago when I hauled Military equipment and bought a few choice parts from him for the Bird!
the place he mentioned is IWE Rearends out here in B.C. and they'll do a terrific rebuild on my original Saginaw tranny...they made 500 of these wide ratio models like mine so I'm excited to get done and beefier!!...I can't believe that the light duty 4cyl. Vega tranny is still alive however it's startin' to "sing" real purdy now that I pounded over 400 ponies through it
Thanks again Len. we'll see you soon 8)
