Hood is temporary. Thinking about getting flat Fiberglass hood and molding in the scoops of a 67-69 FB 400 with the fuel psi gauge in a tall 67 style hood tach shell

Doug Bashur (79440bird) has a fiberglass cowl induction hood he fabricated for a Sunbird. May be an idea. :th:

Nice job. The Astre has 2 inch cowl hood now like when I bought it. Was gonna use bigger cowl but figured people would think it's a Vega from 20mph or 20 ft. Lol. Probably still will. Hehe. Got to represent the Indian Power but I like the way you think.

I originally bought a fiberglass 70-73 T/A scoop but had two problems once engine was mounted.
On the H Body the location on hood looked awkward.
The scoop wasnt sloped right and proportions were off. Turning it backwards actually looked better but but blew that off.
My last thought was build clear lexan scoop like older Street Outlaw days but I've blown that idea off too. Lol.

Anyone know anything about this car? I would like to see more on it but it seems to have disappeared except for a couple short clips on the tube.
