steering column spring

Postby engb995 » Fri Mar 10, 2017 1:32 am

When i removed my steering wheel to replace the turn signal cam the lock plate felt loose. After removing the round wire clip that holds the lock plate on, i noticed that the spring that fits around the steering shaft and into the the horn plate was gone. It is about 1" o.d. x 3/4" i.d. and 1" long. where can i get one and how stiff does it have to be? thanks
