PICTURES with a little help from a new friend

Postby jhargis1 » Tue Aug 22, 2017 5:49 am

I know enough about a computer to have to use one about 60% of my day. But had not tried resizing photos. "bugdewde" got me on the straight and narrow. Here's pics of my 72. Just picked it up after finding it by accident, on vacation in Kentucky. Returned home and the next weekend drove back to Kentucky from Oklahoma, 12 hours each way. But it was worth the trip. I have been looking for a suitable 71-72-73. Had a couple when I was a kid in the mid 70's. This one will be special. Already has a very warmed up 350 and T350 trans. And YES, it is almost laser straight. Monza posi with a 5 lug change. Now I will be attempting the 5lug change on the front. Interior is original and almost cherry. Looking for some flat type rally covers for the 14's in the back to closely match the stock 13's in the front for now. After the 5lug transplant, there will be a set CENTERLINE AUTODRAGS in its future. Last picture, had to stop at the CORVETTE Museum as I past by in Bowling Green.

Nice find. I had a '72 hatch that same color back in '77. Yours is much nicer.

Beauty !!..Love that Metallic Green. Nice score and it's how these are usually found, by accident
...the best part is pictures of the excursion and the trailer pic coming home :th:

Awesome.... one of my favorite Vega colors.
I got my last '72 Kammback in OK. Drove it home all the way to East Tennessee.
