Hot Rod Power Tour

Postby rm617 » Sat Jun 15, 2019 8:32 am

I did the long haul in my Mirage. I ran with Ken and Nate Mahoy (Spyder Garage), Kevin Singleton and Bill Lynch. It was a fantastic trip and I got to meet some new H-Body nuts. One of the highlights for me was being interviewed by Mike Musto from Hot Rod. https://www.hotrod.com/articles/hot-rod ... Zda3Hqil6Y

It was a blast! It was surprising how many fans of Spyder Garage there are. Ken, Nate and "Miles" were recognized all the time. At every venue and along the route you could hear people yelling "Spyder Garage!" At one venue there were 3 father and son pairs helping work on Miles.

Good interview Ron! Although a completely different event, there are more cars and people at the Woodward Dream Cruise but on the weekend it is actually the Woodward Creep & Stop, Creep & Stop..........August 17 is the date but it starts 2+ weeks before through one week after.

Cool interview,

Did the Power Tour a few years back from Dallas and never saw another H-Body although I was told a couple were spoted doing the tour. Fun deal for sure. Just a word to say I enjoy Spyder Garage also.
