4 speed console for Vega

Postby Brianp » Sat Jul 06, 2019 9:55 pm

Anybody have a recommendation for a 4 speed console that will fit a 75 Vega without too much modification?

That's the console I grabbed out of the junk yard for my Vega, except its black. Overlayed carbon fiber vinyl to the plastic parts. The metal framework of the console actually has a hole in the perfect spot where I intend to mount the fog light switch. Without having to fabricate one from scrtch, this would be the best way to go for a Vega console. Happy Hunting.

Would he need a 75 Monza Console? Or would the 76-80 style also work? I don't have any experience with 75 & earlier Vega floor pans, so I don't know if the tunnel changed in 76 like Monza's did.

Thanks guys, I have been watching ebay for awhile. Tried a few local junkyards but no luck. If anybody knows of one in someone's stash, please let me know.

I have a red 76-80 style console, the auto & manual console's are the same just a different shifter insert. Let me know if interested in it and I will post some pictures.
