Rear coilovers

Postby Beater 74 » Sun May 03, 2020 11:45 am

I put an S10 rear in my 74 wagon. The tires rubbed. I put spring bags in that constantly leaked down. I have UMI upper and lower control arms. I bought Qa1 coilovers and now i need to reinforce the shock mounts upper, and lower. Any info, and or photos would help greatly!

Welcome Aboard "74 Beater"! That is a unique paint scheme, I would have though that as long as I have been involved with H-Bodies I would have seen all of the combo's, apparently NOT! Your colours and layout do suit your car and turned out great! Glad you found the answer to your questions, we don't get the traffic we used to, so you will have to suffer through the "search process" or hang-out until the member with the answer you need stops in. Thanx for dropping in, and joining us! Harry

Got the rear end out. Trying to strengthen mount points.
