If you are going to use adaptors you should use
some loctite to help hold the adapter bolts in place.
Preferrably, why not convert to 5 lug using Chevy S10 axles
and spindles. It is a whole lot safer and not that
expensive of a change. Of course, if you want to stay
original the 5 luggers won't work. Spacers are much safer
than adapters, but don't go too thick. I have run 1/4"
spacers with no problems. Like said previously don't,
increase the length of the wheel studs to be sure you get
a enough threads to grip with the lug nuts so that
the wheels don't come off. A thick stud as well
wouldn't hurt.
Stay Safe,
JD
