I tested a stock Monza 3 row in my Vega against
my 4row (120 tube) Vega radiator. Even though the
Monza radiator has more surface area, I saw a
consistent 25 degree drop intemperature across the
board.
I have worked on stock V8 Monza's with the
factroy 2 row radiator. Upgrading to a 4 row made no
difference in cooling whatsoever.
Horsepower equates
to heat production. Cooling is made up of fluid
capacity and surface area. Some engines are harder to cool
than others.
Why do you think older Cadillac's
had 4row radiators that were almost as wide as the
car???...Robert
