I finally have my own H body car.A friend of mine

Rohn Schuster(also a club mmber)purchased a one owner
75 monza coupe from the new car dealership
that
he works at.He picked it up for $300.00.The car has
93,000 miles good running 262 V8,automatic
After he
got the car home he found that the frame had a crack
in it where the lower A frame is bolted up.Due to
many other projects he has going he decided to sell me
the car for what he paid for it.We looked at the
frame and it is repairable so the first thing I plan to
do is take it to a local frame shop to get it
repaired.Since the body is almost rust free(rear bottom of both
doors)I plan to drive it this summer as is then just
before I put it away for the winter I will get it in the
body shop for rust repair and a fresh coat of red
paint. It is red with a white vinyl top and white
interior.Me wife is just excited to have another car in the
drive way. When I got the car home I told her it was
going to be a parts car for
my son kyles 73 vega.So
I had to lie a little bit to save the car from the
crusher.

Today I received by way of motor frieght my 73
vega from California, to Detroit. It was a Great find,
body is is very good shape, doors close quietly, no
rust except on hood and hatch, original 4 cyl and 4
speed, (soon for sale) nice crager wheels, all parts
except ignition tumbler in column accounted for, even
the original fan belt. Couple small chips in
windsheild, interior very decent, although its a wine or red
color. Seats are a little rough, but carpet is fine.
Will be changing to black interior soon. Not a gt
although I have a complete Gt for parts. I will eventually
part out the 73 gt, have some stuff I will not need,
new car has original 42686 miles on it. Im just so
elated, I looked at a 73 gt here in dearborn, It went for
4100.oo on ebay, this car is even better, I got it for
525 + shipping of 875 for non running vehicle. I
still feel it was a great deal. The shipper picked it
up on Sunday and it was here today...the paperwork
from Cali has even arrived yet. And I just sold my
house to boot, better find one soon or Ill be living in
the Vega, soon to be the fastest mobile Home on
Wheels..thanks guys for the inspiration Now I feel the need to
get started, the old one was just too far gone and
wasnt what I wanted to spend my time on, let the games
begin. Rob
