I purchased liquid polyurethane
rubber.
(PMC-780 SHORE 80A Hardness 3 lbs. $25.00
www.smooth-on.com)
I burned the rubber out of my old motor
mounts.
I built a fixture with two 45 degree angles out of
scrap 2x6.
I bolted the motor mounts to the fixture
to suspend them in position.
I used duct tape
(bad choice) to wrap one end of the mounts.
I mixed
part A and part B of polyurethane resin.
I poured
the mixture into the motor mounts.
I let them cure
overnight.
I bolted them in my 1978 V8 Sunbird.
