Well I don't really want to get into causing
problems between various agents OR have them reconsider my
policy, if you know what I mean. To answer your other
questions, no my car is far from stock. They took into
consideration whether it had a stock paint job or custom, I
consider it custom even though I did it myself because of
the amount of effort, prep, and care that went into
it. This is really just a showcar, it's not used for
any other type of transportation. I put about 1000
miles a year on it going to shows/cruises only. I have
a ton of chrome under the hood, poilished intake
manifold, braided hoses, etc. I'm really not saying this to
brag, but the car is mint. So it's not to be confused
with a daily driver. I tried to consider what I spent
when getting it insured and I didn't really have any
idea what it was worth at the time (or even now). But
knowing some other friends that I show with and finding
out what they have their cars insured for I think I
am actually on the low side. I mean just think of
what kind of daily driver used car you would get for
$10,000? Nothing really that special and insurance
companies have no problem insuring these for $10K, so why
not a special interest car even though it is much
older? There are TONS of $10,000 dollar cars on the
road. So I don't know if this helps you at all, there
are a few members of this club who have seen my car
and they can tell you what condition it is in, but
no, it is not stock. Clyde
