torque arm help

where can i get or who makes a good torque arm i can get 4 my stock suspension vega?

Unless it is a late Vega, you need to switch to a Monza Rear to get a torque arm to bolt on, but then you also will need a track bar, the one that goes side to side, to center it too. Putting a torque arm on a 4 link rear will cause binding without removing the upper control arms.

If you have some fabricating skills, Maximum Motorsports makes a torque arm setup for Mustangs. I haven't looked into this enough to see how much modification it would need, but it looks interesting.

i have a 76 vega hatch and a monza rear end and it has a torque arm on it already. im just looking if someone makes a good one 2 replace the wimpy stock one ?

Ah ha!!! I don't believe there is a direct replacement available. I think some have used the one for an F-body, but then you need to mod either the mounting point on the trans or create a new mounting point altogether.

my monza has gone in the tens over 30 times with the wimpy stock arm with a one foot section of camaro arm to mate to the rear,no bends no problems,,if I did it again i would use a aftermarket adjustable one,,

Stock torque arm went deep in the 9's for lots of runs.
It needs bracing.
