2135 headers issues

Postby starfire1980 » Tue Jan 30, 2007 3:14 am

Has anyone encountered issue installing the Hooker 2135 headers ?
I am using Bob GUMM'S motor mounts.

Any experience is appreciated in advance.

Only problem I encountered was that the slip joints tend to leak and rattle given time. You may want to use a small amount of high-temperature silicone on the joints first.

Jack up the engine, unbolt it and it makes installation very easy. Also a Mini-Starter is a must. Unbolt the K-member and then the job is a breeze. Other then that not a bad go.
