throttle cable for vega

i have a brand new stock vega throttle cable that i want to use in conjunction with a new bracket for my v8 build. old one looks like it goes through a grommet of some sort in the firewall, and maybe screws into the grommet with some sort of retainer to hold it in place. can anyone tell me how to do the job with this new cable. thanks Art in NY

There should be a couple of hooks on the cable housing, on the opposite side of the grommet, facing toward the interior of the car, that just snap in the hole in the firewall.
