Guys

I know these threads are older, however, just reading them regarding frozen lower A arm bolts. the rear bolts are frozen to the inner metal bushing sleeves. I tried everything but this one way worked. It saved the bolts nuts and washers. Got to be patient on this one. Under the A arm between the bushing collars is an `outer metal sleeve , its about 1-1/2" ish, I used a 6" cutoff wheel and grinder to slice X slots in the middle of the outer metal sleeve. You want to peel the metal sleeve back enough to dig out the rubber in the center of the bushing to expose the inner sleeve. Then using a ratchet and 15/16 socket , turn the bolt and frozen inner sleve until you see the slott along the metal sleeve. Then you use a flat blade screwdriver and hammer and open up the slot in the sleeve wide enough and the bolt will eventually break free from the sleeve. Then work the ratchet and socket and tap out the bolt . PATIENTS!!
