Vega traction bars

Anybody having problems with vega traction bars breaking.Possible too much air in shock?

Do you have the slapper bar style of traction bar? How much gap do you have between the bumper of the bar and the chassis with the suspension at rest?

1 inch maybe.I think too much air in shock.Maybe need gas shock.Also broke shock mount on driver rear bracket.

I've had those in the past. Maybe my car was lower, I had to cut the bumper down to open it up to 1/2-3/4" clearance, if I remember right. I hated them because they'd want to launch you out of your seat crossing railroad tracks. I ended up making brackets for the rear upper control arms to raise them and shorten the instant center.
