1973-1981 (maybe more years) GM Seat belt Guide - 3D printer files.
You can buy these as reproductions, but its fun watching them print. These also interchange with the originals, and reproductions. The triangle needs to be printed with the support in the slicing software turned on. (Cura) The X and Y axis should be adjusted so the support material does not touch the triangle protrusion. The escutcheon needs no support. The triangle installs with a ¾ inch long screw in the center hole, and spreads into the escutcheon. There is no data available for wear resistance, durability, or a number of operational cycles before a failure. If you build this item, or in event of a failure post pictures on:

Hi, How do these hold up to sun exposure? Will they deform? most plastics will not do well in the sun.

Hello,
Here is a link you can study the different plastic filaments. I printed these out of PLA filament. You will want to paint them, so that will block the UV. PLA plastic is slightly brittle, but as cheap as these are to print just print more. I have not weighed these but Ill but there's not $2.00 in all 4.
Thank You,
DW
