tech help on v8 conversions

Hello. i have two chevy vega notch back coupes. I
have a 75 and a 76. the 75 has a '69 327 and a th350.
i installed these with a trans-dapt kit. what i am
looking for is any help or ideas pertaining to
modifications to the chassis.etc,..that would assist me in my
buildup. i am from new brunswick canada, which is
notorious for salt and vegas are so rare here it makes
parts almost non=existant. i want to build a driveable
,and reliably quick street machine. any info would be
great.
