I just posted pictures of my restored 77 Monza Mirage. These were
taken before I found a BRAND NEW air dam for it! I just bought the
dam on another H-Body site. I will re-post pictures after I get the

Great looking car! I wished my restoration would move along a little
faster, but to find NOS or excellent condition parts is next to
impossible. You beat me to the NOS spoiler by just minutes!! But
luckily, I do have one of the fiberglass reproductions.

I really hate to nit-pick such a beautiful car, but the logo on the
passenger door is not right. The text on that door should read
"mirage monza". The driver's door reads "monza mirage". I have seen
this error duplicated many times over on many different cars. As a
matter of fact, my car was repainted many years ago by the original
owner, and the words read backwards on the passenger door as well.

Both decals are available for $40 each from Jim Osborn reproductions
@770-962-7556. The part number for the passenger door is DC1125. The
number for the driver's door is DC1126. The additional black text
decals in case you're interested are #DC1127 for the rear spoiler
logo ($20) and for the "Altered By" door jamb sticker, the number is
DC1128 ($5).

If money were no object, I would probably buy the whole Mirage decal
kit from Stencils and Stripes for $895.00 but will most likely end up
painting them on as is usually seen on restorations.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately I purchased the car already restored
except for the missing air dam. i waited 2-1/2 years to find that air
dam. The decals on the door were installed by the previous owner.
I'll probably just live with it for now.
