Hello, I just signed up to this great Yahoo Group. My brother has a
1977 Chevrolet Monza Spyder. I work as a Cad Draftsman (Autocad
2000) and made an adapter plate at work on the CNC. There have been
alot of modes to the car as we added a homemade frame connecters.
The transmission is from a 1992 Dodge Viper and is brand spanking
new. The reason we picked the Dodge Viper are: First: The stickshift
comes out further forward that the T56's from the Camaro/Firebird.
Second: The Camaro/Firebird gears are a little thinner, and the
output shaft is larger. I know that there will be many questions, and
I hope to make a detailed "How To" soon. If I do it will be in MS
Word....as I know how to use it pretty good. Thanks & Let The
Questions Fly!!! Wayne Grabley (Clifton, New Jersey---USA)
PS....I posted alot of pictures in the PHOTOS section. See a folder
marked "Dels 1977 Monza Spyder". Thanks!!
