Showcars Body Parts Unlimited

Postby 1980Notch » Mon Dec 17, 2012 12:15 pm

Anybody dealt with company before. I see they offer parts for coupes. Not very many resources for these cars. I'm curious about fitment and quality.

Thanks,
Chris.

Hi,
Be very very careful dealing with showcars out of Toronto. they have a bad reputation, and deserved . i have personally dealt with them and had a very hard time getting my parts.

I have heard nothing but bad about them for many, many years. Poor quality, fit, takes months to get anything and customer service doesn't exist.

I had a bad experience with them about 15 years ago and that is when I started making my own fiberglass parts. It is sad how many people come to me for parts after they have gotten screwed over by Showcars but they bought before they looked at all the bad press on them. I have even looked it up and it isn't only H body owners that they have a bad rep with. There is 1 guy on the Facebook H body page that says he has was happy with them but that is the only one I have ever heard of.

https://www.google.com/search?sitesearc ... q=showcars

its a search here (top right of this page) for the word "showcars" and has many many people telling their stories about that guy and his semi-criminal dealings with auto buffs, makes us sad he's Canadian.

do not buy from him unless you don't mind massive problems getting what you ordered..
