Are Vega exhaust manifolds suseptible to cracking? Every manifold I found for a 71-72 was cracked. I was looking for an uncracked one for a bit, and ending up finding a header instead. Would still like to get one for a 71-72 (for some reason they were a little different). You know what, I do have an exhaust manifold from a 77 if that would work (I will double check it, but I think it is uncracked).

Do you have a part number on the early exhaust manifolds? I did part out a 71 that had low miles due to a moron cross threading a oil press sending unit and cracking the block. I do have a bunch of them laying around

I have tons of parts and pieces, V8 kits, headers, V8 exhaust manifolds, rears, factory posi, 4 cyl engines, trans autos and sticks, a fresh hipo 4cyl only needing final assembly, and a 76 Vega wagon 16K original, no motor, good body/interior. I have no time to put something together, and really need to get rid of the bulk of my stuff, I guess you could say a spring cleaning.
I hope i'm not totally off base...but would anyone be interested in trading a good running driving Vega for a hugh collection of parts? I figured I'd give this a try if not i'll be working on selling most everything off during the spring and summer months to hopefully gather enough money to purchase a runner. Not really picky as to what, but a manual shift hatch would be ideal (although since i do have a complete 5 speed setup, guess an auto would work).

I do not have a full list of everything, sorry, but can work off memory and take a trip to my barn on the phone and go over most everything up there.

I'm located in New Berlin, WI near Milwaukee so if you are close you could also stop by and take a look.

Jeff

Jeff, I'm going to be back in the area. Germantown. Please come up and see me sometime this summer!

What parts do you have left? I'm looking for some minor things for the vega, not even sure what until I unpack up there.
