Opinions on rear suspension for street/strip

Postby 78spyder » Sat Aug 10, 2024 1:37 am

I am putting together a Monza for equal street/strip and am working on the frame and rear suspension first before moving on to other things.
The car currently has a 300 some HP 355 which is a dog to me, my daily is a 500 HP 4cyl so I want to wake this thing up for a fair weather driver and
hopefully in time 10's or better. I'm torn between doing a ladder bar setup or a torque arm, probably shorter but using Overkill control arms and brackets.
I would like to hear some opinions or experiences of the ladder bar or torque arms setups. I hear 4 link isnt very practical due to space available. Any guidance is
appreciated
